'Our' village Guaro
This typical, cozy Spanish village has just over 2,000 inhabitants and is a five-minute walk from our apartments.
You’ll find several bars, small restaurants, local supermarkets, a bakery, and gaming spots there.
With the narrow streets, flower-filled balconies, the small church, and the friendly people, it’s definitely worth a visit. Guaro is surrounded by almond and olive trees and is located in the middle of the mountains, twenty kilometers from the coast. Perfect for getting to know the real, authentic Andalusia. In the surrounding area, it’s possible to go on beautiful hikes through the nearby mountains. The Luna Mora festival takes place on the second weekend of September, a very atmospheric celebration with 20,000 tealights in the streets. Horseback riding through the Sierra de las Nieves Horseback riding through the beautiful nature! Nido Aguila Blanca is a great base. Fifteen minutes’ drive from us you’ll find a horse rental company. From there, under professional guidance, you can go on amazing rides through the countryside. Anything from a lesson in the arena to a full-day ride is possible. A 2-hour ride costs 45 euros. A lesson in the arena costs 30 euros. Hiking in the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park For that too, El Nido A good home base. There are also marked hikes. Some of these hikes start from the village of Guaro. By car, you can reach even more different locations in about fifteen minutes, where several beautiful marked hiking trails begin. Some of these routes go through the Sierra de las Nieves National Park. Ask us for information. And the Caminito del Rey trail can also be reached from here.
Kom naar de Costa del golf
Golfen in Spanje? Ook dat kan in de buurt van El Nido. Niet voor niets wordt de Costa del Sol ook wel de Costa del Golf genoemd. Binnen twintig kilometer vind je het golfterrein van Alhaurin el Grande.
Aan de kust bij Marbella zijn ook verschillende mooie golfbanen. Bij ons vandaan ben je daar binnen het half uur.
Kinderen genieten op Nido Aguila Blanca
Gezinnen met kinderen kunnen hier de volmaakte vakantie vieren. Het heerlijke zwembad biedt de nodige verkoeling. Het 1 hectare grote terrein met ruimschoots buitenspeelgoed biedt voldoende speelruimte. Dit stimuleert vooral de fantasie en nodigt uit tot avonturen. Doordat we in de schoolvakanties veel famiies hebben zijn er dikwijls vriendjes waar mee gespeeld kan worden. Daardoor blijven de kinderen vaak het liefs bij het huisje terwijl de ouders de omgeving willen verkennen.
Voor de kleintjes is er ook een kinderbadje.

Winkelen
In Coin ligt een winkelcentrum waar je kunt winkelen. In de omgeving is elke dag wel een markt. Shopping paradijzen vindt u aan de kust in Marbella en Malaga.
Massage
Het is mogelijk om van een heerlijk massage te genieten en je helemaal over te geven aan het vakantiegevoel. De kosten zijn 50 euro voor één uur.
Yoga
Gedurende het hele jaar is het mogelijk yogalessen te volgen. Een priveles kost 60 euro per uur, of je volgt een van de groepslessen voor 20 euro per uur. Dit is op basis van voldoende belangstelling. De lessen kunnen gegeven worden in het Nederlands, Engels of Spaans.
